Interview with Delphine Croisier-Bertin, Vivexia Laboratory Manager, Dijon University Hospital:

We study respiratory infections and the antiibiotics that will combat them. We use lung and spleen samples in pre-clinical tests for the development of human and veterinary antibiotics.

With the MiniMix CC, we blend biopsies from rabbits and mice to study the effect of antibiotics on animals. In the past, we used a potter and pestle to mix these samples. This was extremely time-consuming and induced problems of contamination and safety.

We chose the MiniMix CC blender for its quality and speed. We mix our biopsies for 40 seconds at maximum intensity.

We use the adjustable paddle function when we have more difficult samples to blend, by advancing the paddles.
